Medalogix, a successful and growing healthcare data science and analytics company in Nashville, TN, needed to add a product leader to its senior management team. At the same time, Medalogix wanted to refine their platform reporting strategy. They asked Fortune’s Path to lead the search for the new SVP of Product and help define the new reporting strategy.

They created an online database to score candidates through the interview process, conducted initial interviews, recommended finalists to the leadership team, and helped onboard the new SVP of Product.
Reporting Strategy
The SVP of Product and Fortune’s Path teamed with key Medalogix stakeholders to define reporting needs across the product portfolio. Together, they created a strategy that focused on revenue growth and transitioned Medalogix from providing product-focused, client specific reports to reports that demonstrated better overall client value. Fortune’s Path played a key role in defining the consumers of Medalogix’s data, what questions those consumers needed answered, and how those answers should be organized to make Medalogix’s reporting an essential asset to its customers.
Fortune’s Path also worked with the product team to define selection criteria to assess numerous commercial analytics platforms that could be integrated into Medalogix’s software-as-a-service platform. They conducted extensive vendor evaluations while creating a strong business case to support investment.

The Results
After validating solutions with the Medalogix development team, Fortune’s Path presented the reporting strategy, implementation plan, and vendor selection process to Medalogix’s leadership team. With the addition of the new SVP of Product, Medalogix has the strong product management team it needs to implement and monetize a reporting vision that will generate new revenue, improve renewals, and position Medalogix to enter new markets.
