Product Management and Jumpstart Foundry: Yes, We Can DoThat
Finding the Simple
When software starts to let you down, it’s tempting to seek out a custom solution. We knew there was a better way without having to go that route. Custom code begone; Fortune’s Path found a way forward.
The Problem
Jumpstart Foundry, a leading provider of strategic capital for healthcare startups, evaluated over 500 applications in 2019 for potential investments. Although the process worked well for applicants, it was hectic for Jumpstart associates, requiring many manual tasks to keep it going.
The Solution
Jumpstart engaged Fortune’s Path to define and build a better system to evaluate and score companies who apply for funding.
As part of the engagement, Fortune’s Path evaluated the systems and technology Jumpstart already had in place. Fortune’s Path then interviewed Jumpstart stakeholders to learn what they needed to succeed. After collecting requirements through the interviews, Fortune’s Path evaluated commercial products to determine if Jumpstart could fulfill its critical use cases without building a custom solution.
After evaluating and testing multiple options, Fortune’s Path integrated four easy-to- use, commercial software systems to create an automated application management system. The new combined system met Jumpstart’s needs for automated scoring of applications, ability to update the application as needed, and a good user experience for applicants where they can save and return to the application if they don’t want to complete it in one sitting.
We help you find your way out of the chaos.
