Fortune’s Path Adds Stanford and MIT Alum Sharon Chou as Data Product Advisor

Firm builds out data capability to help clients bring greater data focus to both product development and management

NASHVILLE, Tenn., — Fortune’s Path, a product management consulting company, has brought scientist and data product advisor Sharon Chou aboard to help clients get more value from their data.

“Working with data is like mining for gold,“ says Tom Noser, founder and president of Fortune's Path. “Sharon’s a world class gold finder. She knows where to dig and what the best nuggets look like.”

As data product advisor, Chou will work closely with Noser to help clients into a greater “data first” mindset, helping clients into a valuable understanding of where data fits into the entire lifecycle of their product — from inception, to go to market, growth, and retirement.

“For many organizations, the problem is no longer ‘how do we get the data?’, it’s how to organize and make sense of the data they already have, and it’s a lot,” says Chou. “I’m pleased to affiliate with Fortune’s Path, to help their clients with data-informed decision-making.”

Chou is a data consultant who has designed and implemented machine learning models, captured decision intelligence, and programmed automation systems for SaaS, tech support, online education, healthcare, tax advisory, and human resources organizations.

As a data scientist, Sharon helps clients boost customer satisfaction, heighten engagement, streamline workflow efficiency, and get more value from their data.

Her past lives include quantum physics researcher, circuit designer, Twitter poet, abstract painter, and recorder/ harmonica player in a rock band. She holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University, and Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in EECS from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

“Sharon is exactly the kind of creative, world-class mind we look for. We couldn't be happier to have her,” says Noser.
